Delete your Thumpo account

You can delete your Thumpo account, and the data that goes with it, at any time. You don't need to do this to stop using Thumpo: using the app without an account keeps everything on your phone.

In the app

Open Thumpo and go to Settings.
Tap your account to open the Account screen.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email support@thumpo.app from the email address you sign in to Thumpo with, with the subject Delete my Thumpo account. We'll confirm it's you, delete the account and reply within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in details (email address, name and profile picture).
Your plan and your credit balance and history.
Music Thumpo generated for you, and the descriptions you typed for it.

What isn't deleted

Things on your phone. Your drafts, videos you exported and anything Thumpo copied from Google Photos stay on your phone until you delete them or uninstall the app. Thumpo never uploads your photos or videos.
Purchase records. Google Play and our payments provider (RevenueCat) keep records of purchases and subscriptions, as the law requires for tax and accounting. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription: cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
Backups. Copies in our database backups are removed automatically within 30 days.
